1. Using this site

ThePickAU (thepickau.com) is a website that offers a small set of classic games played in the browser. By using it you accept the terms on this page. Anyone who does not accept them should not carry on using the site.

2. What we provide

Everything on the list exists for personal enjoyment and a bit of practice. The pieces it is built from are open source, hosted and looked after by us. We work to keep them available, but we cannot promise they will be up at every moment or entirely without faults.

3. No accounts, nothing to buy

Nothing on this site can be registered for or subscribed to. No checkout exists, no charge can ever be raised against you, and financial details are something we will never ask for.

4. External websites

When a page links to another website, that site’s own terms and privacy policy apply from the moment you arrive there. We take no responsibility for the content or availability of websites we do not operate.

5. Changes to the games

Games can be added to the list, reworked or dropped from it, difficulty settings can shift, and the look or behaviour of any game can change, all without warning and at any moment.

6. Intellectual property

Game names remain the property of their respective owners and are used here only to describe what is on offer. Underneath sits open-source software; its licences are honoured and copies of them are published on this site. Our own words, artwork and page design are ours, and copying them for commercial purposes needs our permission first.

7. Acceptable use

Please leave the site working as it is: no tampering, no bulk copying, no automated harvesting. It exists to be read and played in the ordinary way, and that is all we ask.

8. Limitation of liability

The site comes as you find it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss that arises from your use of the site or from visiting a site we link to. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law applying to you does not allow to be limited.

9. Changes

Whenever the site moves on, these terms may move with it. The text on this page at any given time is the text that counts.
